New clubs, technical communities, project groups, and student initiatives are formed regularly. Some societies may also become more or less active depending on the batch. For example, there are communities focused on areas such as cybersecurity, competitive programming, AI/ML, robotics, and other niche interests that may not always have a dedicated institute page.
The best way to discover clubs is by attending the Club Orientation Sessions held at the beginning of the academic year. Nearly all active societies introduce themselves, showcase their work, explain their recruitment process, and answer questions from freshers.
Even if a club is not listed here, don't hesitate to explore it. Some of the most impactful opportunities at NITJ come from smaller communities, project teams, and student-led initiatives that you may only hear about through orientations, seniors, or fellow students.
Tip: Attend multiple club orientations during your first month. The best club is usually the one where you enjoy spending your time, not necessarily the one that looks best on a résumé.
